Kopari is coconut body care, from whipped body butter and glowing body oil to sunscreen, lip balm and fruity hair mists. Here are sixteen of its products, split between body care and everything else.

Where Is Kopari Made? Coconut Sourcing and Body Care

A Jar of Coconut Oil
Kopari began with one jar of coconut oil. Kiana Cabell, who was born in Hawaii and raised in Honolulu, started the brand in late 2015 to take her love of coconut oil further, Allure reported. The first hero was Coconut Melt, a jar of pure organic coconut oil you could use on skin, hair and pretty much everything else. I went deeper on a related idea in Cocokind, the Barrier-First Brand That Started With Coconut Oil.
The coconuts come from the Philippines. Kopari says its oil is organic and sustainably sourced there, and Cult Beauty's brand page adds that the coconuts come from small family farms in Davao, are picked by hand and cold-pressed.
Ten years on, Kopari is a full body care brand, and it still smells like coconut. The signature scent is sweet coconut milk with vanilla, and it shows up in the body butter, the body cream and the Kaanapali Coast mist. There are fruitier scents too, like pink guava and peach, if coconut is not your thing.
The first grid is Kopari body care: an oil, lotions, a butter, a body wash, a deodorant and a bump-smoothing scrub. The second grid is everything else, for lips, face, sun and hair.
A tip for the body products: put them on within a few minutes of getting out of the shower, while your skin is still a little damp. Rich textures spread further and sink in faster that way, and you use less.
Kopari Body Care
Everything here is for the body, and most of it smells like a vacation.
The Ultra Restore Body Butter is the one I would start with. It is whipped and lighter than it looks, with Kopari's sweet coconut milk scent. The Hydrating Silk Body Cream is smoother and thinner, with hyaluronic and polyglutamic acids, for people who dislike the feel of butter. The Paradiso Cloud Swirl Body Lotion is a bouncy lotion and gel swirl that melts in fast, which is good for rushed mornings.
For glow, there are two. The Golden Aura Body Oil is rich but fast-absorbing, with hyaluronic acid and 24k gold. The Golden Aura Body Gelée is a sheer gel with mica that gives a high-gloss shine to legs and shoulders.
The Paradiso Cloud Foam Body Wash is a soft lather that cleanses without stripping. The Aluminum-Free Coconut Deodorant is also free of baking soda, which matters if baking soda deodorants have irritated you before. And KP Body Bumps Be Gone is a scrub treatment with 10% AHA for the rough little bumps on the backs of arms.
What I would skip: the Body Gelée right before you put on anything pale or silky. Mica shimmer is lovely on skin and less lovely on a cream silk blouse.

For Lips, Face, Sun and Hair
The second half of the line is the smaller things you might not expect from a coconut brand.
Lip Love Moisture Balm is a ceramide balm in four sheer shades, and three of them have mineral SPF 30. For sun, the Sun Juice Body Mist SPF 30 is a clear, non-sticky spray with no white cast, and the Pure Protect Mineral Sunscreen Stick SPF 50+ is fully mineral, for face and body. The stick is the one I keep in a beach bag for noses, ears and the part in your hair. If you want to keep going, Bondi Boost: The Rosemary Hair Brand That Started on an Australian Beach is the one I would read next.
For the face, the Star Bright Vitamin C Serum is made for dark spots, with encapsulated vitamin C and kakadu plum. The Marine Clean Purifying Gel Cleanser is a gel that behaves like a foam and takes off makeup without drying.
And then the mists, which are the most fun thing here. Pink Guava is guava, mandarin and mango with a hint of vanilla. Malibu Peach is peach with jasmine. Kaanapali Coast is the Kopari signature, coconut milk and vanilla with a bit of warm spice. They are for hair and body, so a spritz on your brush works too.
What I would skip: the mists as your only fragrance at night. They are light and fresh, and they fade faster than a perfume.

Coconut, From Head to Toe
I think Kopari works best when you pick one scent and let it run through your routine. Wash with the body wash, put the butter on damp skin, finish with the matching mist, and you will smell faintly of coconut all day without it being loud. Cabell started with a single jar of oil. The line is much bigger now, but it is still built around that same easy, beachy feeling. Even in the middle of winter, one whiff of the body butter feels like a week off.
