Violette Makeup Products: VIOLETTE_FR Blush, Eyeshadow and Fall Lip Color

Violette Serrat's own beauty line, arranged from complexion and eyes to fall lip color for the colder season.

Shop 32 VIOLETTE_FR makeup picks by Violette Serrat, from Plume Blush and soft eye veils to blurred balms and fall lip color.

Violette Serrat makeup products begin with the artist behind VIOLETTE_FR

VIOLETTE_FR is the makeup line I would shop first for buildable cheek color and softened eyes: Plume Blush blends a cream texture into a matte finish, while Plume Eyeshadow is a cream-to-powder veil. Violette Serrat founded the beauty house in 2021 and leads it as CEO, after nearly two decades as a makeup artist.

Her art training began with painting classes at École du Louvre, and early work for French Vogue helped launch her editorial path. Dior named her international makeup designer in 2012 at 27, the youngest in the house's history; Estée Lauder hired her as global beauty director in 2017, and WWD reported her Guerlain appointment was effective August 1, 2021.

VIOLETTE_FR lip products move from sheer balms to statement mattes

VIOLETTE_FR lip products move from sheer to statement: Bisou Balm is a sheer matte lipstick-meets-balm, and Plume Lip is a feather-matte lip whip. The textures pair softly blurred color with a more defined finish, which makes this line especially useful once the weather cools.

Petal Bouche brings richly pigmented velvet matte liquid lipstick, while Lip Nectar is a hydrating, high-shine stain. I would keep Bisou Balm Chocolat or Plume Lip Châtaigne Grillée in rotation for fall and reserve Amour Fou for a red lip.

Where I would start with Violette's makeup

I would begin with Plume Blush and let the face set the pace. Add one shadow with a fingertip, then reach for Bisou Balm when a softly blurred lip feels right. It is a compact starting point that leaves plenty of room to make the look your own.
