Slip-on shoes, fleece layers and soft pants for the security line. Built for women who want to get through fast and still look pulled together at the gate.

TSA Pre-Check
The security line is where I find out whether I dressed well for the trip. My rule is simple: shoes that slide off in one move, a soft layer I can pull off and stuff in a bag, and pants with no buckle or zipper to set anything off.
For shoes I go with the Vans slip-ons, Birkenstock's Boston clogs or the Dolce Vita Cloey loafer, which has a bit of shearling so my feet are warm on the cold gate floor. Up top, a Splits59 fleece hoodie or a Varley half zip comes off fast, and the Ralph Lauren fleece crewneck is the one I wear when I want to look a little more together on landing. Bottoms are Skims Cloud straight leg pants or Z Supply joggers, both soft enough for a red-eye. Add a small tinted pair of sunglasses and a tank underneath and you are through before the person ahead of you finds the bin.
