The Marc Jacobs tote pink options are Ribbon Pink, Hot Pink and Petal Pink, with the name embossed rather than printed. I go through the small and medium sizes, then the shoulder bags and crossbodies.

The Marc Jacobs Tote Bag Pink Edit
The Marc Jacobs Tote Bag in pink
The Marc Jacobs Tote Bag pink range works because the name is embossed rather than printed, so the logo is visible without being a graphic. In pink that reads very differently depending on the saturation, moving from soft and almost incidental to deliberately loud. Small and medium are genuinely different bags rather than the same bag scaled, since the handles stay the same length. The design descends from the canvas tote every art student carried, reissued in leather and positioned as a fashion object, which is a joke the brand is clearly in on. It became ubiquitous around 2021 and has held, which almost nothing from that year did.

The medium Tote Bag in three pinks
Ribbon Pink reads almost fuchsia in daylight. Petal Pink is muted enough to sit beside grey and navy without fighting them. Hot Pink is the loudest of the three, and the brown leather version is here for anyone who wants the shape without the colour.
More Marc Jacobs bags to carry
Outside the tote the label is making smaller, harder-edged bags in the same house style. The Snapshot is the other design that broke through, a rigid rectangle with an oversized clasp that photographs unusually well. A saddle shape in pebbled leather moves in the opposite direction, soft and quiet and almost without branding. The micro sizes are not practical and are not pretending to be, which is the honest version of a trend most brands fudge. Together they cover the gap between a bag that carries things and a bag that finishes an outfit.
A shoulder bag and the Snapshot
The Scene sits under the arm on a short strap, so it stays close in a crowd. The Snapshot in Ribbon Pink is the crossbody version of the same idea.
More pink Tote Bags
Marc Jacobs released The Tote Bag in 2019, and the brand still quotes his line about it on its own site: no more Birkins, only tote bags. That is the spirit I would shop this group in, because these are the versions that do something the leather tote does not.
The Leather Medium Tote Bag in Rose is the quietest pink in the whole edit, closer to dusty than bright. The Blurred Floral Puffy Nylon Tote comes in a large and a medium, and the padded nylon is much lighter than leather, which matters if you carry a laptop every day. The Jacquard Small Tote in Blush has a woven texture, so it reads softer and dressier than canvas.
The test: load it with what you really carry and lift it by the short handles. If it pulls on your fingers half full, you will not use it full.
What I would skip: the large size if you mostly carry a phone and a wallet.
Crossbodies and the Snapshot
The Snapshot first came down the Marc Jacobs runway for Spring 2016, and it has been the label's other hit ever since. It is a camera bag at heart: small, rectangular and on a strap long enough to wear across the body. This group is for the days when a tote is too much bag.
The Snapshot here has a bow on the front, and the Colorblock Chain Snapshot swaps the webbing strap for a chain, which makes it the easier one to wear at night. The Canvas Crossbody Tote in Raspberry Pink is the casual pick, a tote shape with a long strap, and The Mini Raffia Sack Bag is the summer piece.
The test: wear it across your body and check where it lands. A crossbody should sit at your hip, not halfway down your thigh.
What I would skip: raffia on a rainy day.
Wallets to match
A Marc Jacobs wallet is an easy way to add one pink detail to a black bag. The Snapshot Wallet on Chain works as a tiny evening bag on its own. The Scene Top Zip Multi Wallet and the Scene Slim Compact Wallet come in the same powder pink, one long and one small, and The Leather Slim Wallet in Ribbon Pink is the brightest of the four.
The test: put in all your cards and close it. A compact wallet that will not shut flat with six cards inside is one you will replace.
What I would skip: a long wallet if your everyday bag is the small tote.

Which size I would buy
The medium is the only size that holds a laptop, and most people buy the small and then regret it. Smooth leather in a pale pink will mark, and the brand's own care instructions are not going to save you from denim transfer. If you wear a lot of indigo, take the hot pink over the pale one and stop worrying about it. The tote is also one of the few logo bags that still looks deliberate rather than dated four years in. That is a better record than most of what launched alongside it. If you want to keep browsing, I also put together Luxury Tote Bags Edit and Louis Vuitton Bag Dupe.
