Print Forward

Print Forward

A men's edit of graphic tees, stripes, camo and clashing prints for guys who like their outfits loud. Start with one bold piece and build around it.

Print Forward is about wearing pattern with confidence, and for men the easiest way in is to pick one loud piece and let everything else stay quiet. I'd start with a graphic tee like the cropped boxy Reaper tee from PacSun or the Helmut Lang stamp tee, then pair it with plain khaki shorts or wide jeans. I went deeper on a related idea in A Pucci Bag Carries The Print Forward.

Stripes are the next step. The Far Afield Breton tee, a Faherty camp shirt and the lululemon striped polo all work with the same pair of pants. When I want something louder I go for camo, like the Carhartt WIP Travon shirt and matching shorts, or the Orlebar Brown towelling set in navy pinstripe. Try mixing two patterns in different scales, a wide stripe with a small print, and keep the colors in one family so it looks planned.
