An evening edit built on tweed jackets, faux fur coats, leather and black minis. For anyone who dresses for a Paris night out with texture and a little drama.

Paris at night, to me, is a mood of texture: tweed, faux fur, black leather and a little sheer. I dress for it in layers that feel rich up close, like a boxy tweed jacket over a slip or a big fur coat over jeans and boots. For tweed I keep coming back to the navy Christie jacket from Cinq à Sept, the L'AGENCE Nyx with its burgundy check, and Frame's cotton version, which all work over a black dress or with denim. Stand Studio's Hana and Carolina faux fur coats are the dramatic ones, one black and one cream, and I would wear either over almost anything. Add Lovers And Friends' tweed skirt, a feathered NBD short with sheer tights, and a Lioness leather bomber when you want an edge. Keep the bag small and the shoes black, then walk like you are late for dinner.
