Fur, gold, and a long coat

The maximalist mob wife look built on faux fur coats, leather jackets, big sunglasses and gold earrings. It is for anyone who likes to dress like they run the town.

The mob wife look is about walking into a room like you already own it. It starts with a big coat, and I like a faux fur one in a dark or leopard print, such as Stand Studio's Hana in black or the Apiece Apart Matta in leopard. Under it I keep things sleek: a black turtleneck, slim dark pants and sunglasses that are a little too big for the weather.

 

Leather does the rest. The ba&sh Milos jacket and the Rag & Bone Finley coat both have a heavy, polished feel that makes plain jeans look dressed up.
