Marni Senofonte Style: Designer Layers, Dresses and Accessories

A fall edit built around her layering instinct, statement silhouettes and work with Beyoncé.

Explore fall layers, dresses and accessories inspired by Marni Senofonte's work with Beyoncé and her love of texture, shape and confident styling.

Who is Marni Senofonte

Marni Senofonte's path into styling began after Emerson College, when she joined Norma Kamali's New York team. Kamali gave her first styling chance when she let her pull looks for Salt-N-Pepa, and the group liked the result.

After seeing her work, Lauryn Hill invited her to join the tour for The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Senofonte later styled Diddy, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, taking on more work with Beyoncé in 2014.

Her Beyoncé work and designer language

Her credits include the 7/11 and Feeling Myself videos, the Lemonade visual album and the Formation era. For Lemonade, Senofonte described a Gucci tapestry suit, a Nicolas Jebran gown, a Neil Barrett suit and couture Givenchy.

Senofonte calls her personal style sexy, preppy and tomboy, and names layers as her motto. Later work includes the 2022 British Vogue feature with Edward Enninful, Tiffany's Fall 2022 campaign with Patti Wilson, and the 2023 Balmain x Beyoncé couture collaboration.

Where I would start with Marni Senofonte style

Start with a sharp coat and a fitted layer underneath. Let one dress or skirt bring the volume. Finish with a sculptural boot or a bag that feels like part of the outfit.
