Mark D. Sikes Lighting Collection: Pendants, Sconces and Lamps to Shop

A look at Mark D. Sikes' Hudson Valley Lighting range, from chandeliers to table lamps, floor lamps and wall lights for fall and winter.

Shop 32 Mark D. Sikes lighting designs from Hudson Valley Lighting, including pendants, chandeliers, sconces, lamps, lanterns and picture lights.

What is Mark D. Sikes' lighting collection

Mark D. Sikes is an interior designer and tastemaker whose work spans the United States and abroad, including the White House and Blair House. He is known for an all-American approach to classical design and rooms shaped for indoor-outdoor living.

His lighting collaboration with Hudson Valley Lighting covers pendants, chandeliers, sconces, lanterns, picture lights, and table and floor lamps. I would choose the main fixture first, then lower the light with a lamp or a pair of wall lights.

AD100 credentials and the Beautiful book trilogy

Sikes is a member of Architectural Digest's AD100 and Elle Decor's A-List. His first book, Beautiful, became a New York Times bestseller, while More Beautiful followed in 2020.

Rizzoli published Forever Beautiful in September 2024, with twelve homes arranged by month and photography by Amy Neunsinger. That seasonal approach suits fall and winter, when a ceiling fixture and a reading lamp can make a room work after dark.

Where I would start with Mark D. Sikes lighting

Begin with the Cambridge Chandelier or the Dorset Table Lamp. Give the room a main source overhead, then add sconces and a reading lamp at seated height. A layered lighting plan makes long fall and winter evenings feel warm and settled.
