Low Effort

Low Effort

A starter wardrobe of the white tee, good denim, a soft knit, a blazer and ballet flats. For women who want to get dressed in two minutes and feel right.

A low effort wardrobe is really just a handful of pieces that you never have to think about. I start with a plain white tee, like the Sixtine from ANINE BING, and one pair of jeans that fits well. Wide legs are my pick right now, such as DL1961's Karmine in navy or Pistola's Beau, and a barrel leg from MOTHER or B Sides looks good with almost any flat.

On top of that tee I add a soft sweater, Z Supply's Dorris is an easy one, and a tailored blazer like the EAVES wool jacket when I need to look like I tried. Shoes are where I stay simple: Dolce Vita's Mikel and Kory flats, Madewell's Greta glove flat or the Sam Edelman Essex all work with the denim. A brown belt from Madewell pulls it together, and a denim midi skirt from Moon River is the day I do not want to wear pants.
