Le Sundial Jewelry: Agate, Pearl and Jade From a Milan Label

Le Sundial jewelry was started in Milan by Silvia Dusci after a career in communications. I picked the agate, pearl and jade necklaces and earrings.

Jewelry

Dusci's background in communications makes her an unusually self-aware designer about the gap between a brand's story and its product, and she has said she built Le Sundial specifically so the product would lead. The jewelry itself favors Art Deco proportion and detail over anything overtly trend-driven, including recent nautilus-shell motifs shared with a handful of other independent jewelers.

Accessories

The accessories extend the same vintage-adjacent restraint: pieces built to feel grounded rather than seasonal, in Dusci's own words objects meant to carry a sense of permanence and ritual. That is a deliberately unfashionable pitch for a category that usually chases the opposite.

Pearls, tassels and silk

The rest of the edit fills out smaller pieces that follow the same design brief, tactile and quiet rather than statement-making. It is consistent enough that it reads as a point of view rather than a rotating assortment.

A steady point of view

Le Sundial is still a young, relatively undocumented label, Dusci's exact founding year has not been pinned down in press coverage, which makes it hard to call it a heritage brand yet. What is verifiable is a consistent design language and a debut on Net-a-Porter that suggests the label is scaling carefully rather than chasing volume. Le Sundial's steady design language feels like my kind of jewelry, so I go on to ring and necklace ideas with their own point of view.
