Knit Hard is about yarn you can feel from across the room: ribs, cables, bouclé and open weaves. These are pieces I wear as the main event, so I keep everything else plain.

 

The Les Deux wool rib crew in green is the easiest place to start, and the NN07 Gavin bouclé crew in desert clay adds a softer, fuzzier texture. For layering, the ASHER cable knit zip cardigan and the PS Paul Smith cardigan sit over a white tee with jeans. I like the Far Afield Kier polo in light green and the Onia ribbed polo in ivory for warm days, when a knit still reads as the focus.

 

Try one chunky piece and keep the pants simple, so the texture does the work.
