Gifts for cooks who live in the kitchen: knives and boards, cookware, pantry favorites, everyday tools, cookbooks and aprons.

For the Person Who Cooks Every Night

Gifts for cooks work best when they are things a cook uses all the time. I picked sharp knives, reliable pans and a few pantry finds that make dinner more fun. These are my gifts for cooks.

Knives and Boards

A good knife is the gift every cook wants. The Material 8 inch knife and the Misen chef's knife are sharp and balanced, and the Wüsthof serrated paring knife handles tomatoes. JK Adams and Teakhaus boards are heavy wood for carving.
