Relaxed and straight leg jeans in easy mid washes for men who want comfort first. Soft, broken in denim that goes with sneakers and loafers alike.

The relaxed jean is the one you put on and forget about. I like a straight or loose leg in a mid wash that already looks a little lived in, with enough room through the thigh to sit comfortably. AGOLDE's 90s relaxed straight comes in a few washes and is the one I would try first, and Citizens of Humanity's Beau has a soft, slightly worn look that works with a plain tee.

 

the Nudie Jeans Rad Rufus and Alex Mill's five pocket jean are good if you want a classic straight leg with a little weight to it, while Knickerbocker's K102 has a faded wash that feels broken in from day one. Wear them with white sneakers or loafers, roll the hem once and keep the top simple. Dark rinse jeans like the Ralph Lauren Hampton are better for dinners, mid washes for everything else.
